Sant Carles de Peralta is a district in the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río.
A large number of houses, scattered among fields of centuries-old olive, almond, carob and fig trees, are dependent on the town, as is common in the island's countryside. The town was founded in 1785 after the church of San Carlos.
In the 60s and 70s it was a meeting place for intellectuals and hippies, which gives it a certain charm today. It is also home to two of the island's most famous hippie neighbourhoods: Las Dalias and Punta Arabí, the former being the most famous and picturesque. Here you can find Ibiza's typical white clothing, handicrafts and costume jewellery.
It also has bars, restaurants, boutiques, banks and shops.
The Ca Anita bar used to be a meeting place for intellectuals and hippies. It is still a meeting place in the area and is famous for its Ibizan herbs and traditional dishes.
